Our
Animal Hospital and Dental Clinic is accepting applications for an
associate
veterinarian. We're hoping to cultivate
a relationship with
someone
just graduating from school in order to integrate them into our
practice
for a perfect fit.
Our
Hospital and Clinic is located in Weston, Florida. Weston is an upscale
beautiful
community between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, in western Broward
County.
The
owner of the practice is a diplomat of both American Veterinary Dental
College
and American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. The hospital is an
AAHA
certified dental specialty clinic and sees dental referrals from
veterinary
practices in Florida and near by states, as well as general medical
and
surgical cases. In addition to general
practice, the owner and staff are
heavily
involved in teaching dentistry through hands-on seminars at the clinic.
The
owner practiced previously in Pembroke Pines, FL for over twenty years,
then
built our hospital which opened in February of 2000. Equipped with
computers
in all rooms, the practice is virtually paperless. Accounting,
medical
records, and appointments are computerized.
Our
in-house laboratory consists of an IDEXX VetTest unit that downloads
cbc
results directly into our veterinary software, as well as an Abaxis unit
that
downloads profiles and electrolytes.
Antech laboratory results are
uploaded
via the internet, and placed directly into patient computer records.
Blood
gas and coagulation tests are performed in-house, and cardiac testing
is
done via Vetronics EGG Analyzer. Each
patient exam room, and the
treatment
area is equipped with MedRx Vetscopes that broadcast close-up
ear
images on-screen. We also have Olympus
Videoscope for endoscopy.
Many
surgical procedures are performed with our CO2 laser. Patients
receive
modern anesthesia monitoring. Our intra
oral dental digital radiology
capabilities
allow us also to receive instant images.
Being
new to the clinical practice of veterinary medicine, you will be
supported
by an involved and knowledgeable staff to assist you in all aspects
of
the profession, not only the medicine, but also the business, and the
marketing
of veterinary medicine.
